Indoor wayfinding, set up for the building you run.

DigiMaps is indoor wayfinding software with 14 ready-made industry packs. Pick Hospital, Shopping mall, Office or Government and the categories, private rooms, search synonyms, kiosk home screen and route types are already set for that building. Your team can override any of it.

Same kiosk. A different front door for each building.

The pack decides what a visitor sees first. A hospital kiosk opens on departments and the pharmacy; an office lobby kiosk opens on companies and meeting rooms. A tile only appears when your venue has a public place behind it, so a clinic with no emergency department never shows an Emergency button.

  • Hospital theme: healthcare-calm

  • Shopping mall theme: retail-vibrant

  • Office theme: corporate-slate

  • Government theme: civic-trust

Home tiles as defined in each pack. Venue names are fictional.

What the pack decides, and what stays the same.

A pack is configuration, not a separate product. It gives you a sensible start for your type of building. The platform underneath is identical for a hospital, a mall and a ministry.

Set by the industry pack

Categories
The place types your visitors browse. The hospital pack has 20 categories and 35 service types; the mall pack has 19 and 42.
CAD-label rules
Rules that sort the room labels in your drawings into those categories. Arabic, Persian and Urdu letter variants are normalised first.
Search synonyms
The words visitors actually type, complete in English and Arabic. “Loo”, “toilet” and حمام all lead to the nearest restroom.
Kiosk home screen
Six home tiles, plus the kiosk features the pack switches on, such as events, emergency mode and QR hand-off to phones.
Privacy defaults
Hospital and government packs are marked sensitive: typed search text is dropped before storage, and unknown room types stay staff-only.
Routing profiles
Six profiles, from wheelchair to low vision. The campus and office packs leave out stroller.
Theme preset
One of 14 presets, such as healthcare-calm or civic-trust. Your own colours, fonts and logo go on top.
Publish check
A venue with no industry pack, or with invalid overrides, cannot publish.

The same in every building

Studio
Draft, review, schedule, publish and roll back. Six roles, with access set venue by venue.
Screens
Kiosks, phones by QR, signage players, directory boards and your website all read the same release.
Live operations
Closures, moved services, notices and emergency takeover reach screens within seconds, without republishing the map.
Accessibility
Reach mode, larger text, 7:1 high contrast, Calm and Easy read on every kiosk. Listen reads directions aloud where the kiosk has a voice for that language.
Hosting
Our cloud, or DigiMaps Server on your own network, including sites with no internet connection.
Your data
Export IMDF, GeoJSON or KML at any time. REST API and signed webhooks for your own systems.

Industry by industry: the first question, and where we fit.

Each industry page opens with the questions visitors ask in that building, then shows what the pack contains and an example scenario on a fictional site.

Industry Heard at the door Where DigiMaps fits
Hospitals and healthcare “Which floor is Cardiology on, and is there a way without stairs?” Step-free routes that never use stairs, staff-only rooms removed from public screens, typed searches not stored, and a server on your own network.
Shopping malls “Where is the food court?” Mall operations keep tenant changes current in Studio. Idle kiosks play signage, routes go to phones by QR, and Arabic runs right to left.
Airports and transit “How far is Gate 12?” Gates, check-in, baggage and transport on one map. Flight and departure boards when you connect your own feed. IMDF export.
Universities and campuses “Where is Seminar room 2.14?” Several buildings on one georeferenced campus, room-number search, and the map embedded on the university website.
Corporate offices “Which floor is meeting room 14.03 on?” Lobby kiosks and directory boards by the lifts, a tenant directory your building team keeps current, and single sign-on for the people who edit it.
Government buildings “Which counter do I go to?” Counters, payments and self-service in Arabic and English, sensitive privacy defaults, on-premises and air-gapped servers.
Hotels and resorts “Where is the ballroom for the conference?” Restaurants, spa, pools and meeting rooms in your brand theme, with events and conference wayfinding.
Museums and venues “Where does the exhibition start?” Galleries, exhibitions and tickets, plus stadium and convention packs for seats, gates, halls and exhibitors.

Also ready: transit stations, stadiums, convention centres, parks, mixed-use districts and a general pack for anything else.

What is inside the packs, counted.

These counts come from the pack files and their validator, not from customer sites. Ask us on a call and we will open any pack and show you the rules behind the number.

Questions about industry packs

What is an industry pack?

An industry pack is the starting configuration for one type of building. It sets the categories, the rules that classify room labels from your CAD drawings, search synonyms, the kiosk home screen, routing profiles, a theme preset and privacy defaults. DigiMaps has 14 of them, all built on one shared base pack.

Can we change what the pack sets up?

Yes. You can override categories, tiles, synonyms, visibility and theme for your venue. If you later re-run the pack’s privacy rules with Check places, Studio previews each change and never overrides a decision someone made by hand.

Is the software different for each industry?

No. Every venue runs the same Studio, Wayfinder, kiosk software and API. The pack only changes configuration, so a hospital and a mall get the same live operations, accessibility features and hosting options.

Our building is a mix of uses. Which pack do we pick?

There is a mixed-use pack for districts that combine retail, dining, offices, leisure and hotels, and a general pack for anything else. You can also start from the closest pack and override what does not fit.

Do you have customers in our industry we can talk to?

Not yet. We do not have customer references to share, so every industry page uses an example scenario on a fictional building. We are looking for our first pilot sites and will show you the product on a sample venue of your type.

Which languages are the packs written in?

The built-in pack wording is complete in English and Arabic. Spanish, French, Hindi, Russian, Urdu and Chinese are in draft. Your own venue content can be written in up to 24 languages per venue, and your team approves every translation.
