Indoor wayfinding for every screen in your building.

DigiMaps turns your floor plans into one live map for touchscreen kiosks, visitors’ phones, digital signage and your website. It is built for hospitals, malls, airports, campuses and offices, and runs in our cloud or on your own server. No beacons needed to start.

  • Kiosk to phone by QR, no app
  • Arabic right to left
  • Six routing profiles
  • Runs air-gapped on your server
  1. 1 Kiosk at the main entrance: the route starts here
  2. 2 Stairs to Level 2. Step-free routes use the lift instead
  3. 3 Cardiology, Level 2: 52 m, about 1 minute

Draw the building once. Every screen shows the same map.

Studio holds your venues, floors, places and opening hours. When you publish, the kiosks, phones, signage players, your website and your own systems all read the same published release, so the directory board and the kiosk standing next to it show the same building.

Studio publishes release 15 of the Wayvale General Hospital map after the preflight check. Kiosks, visitors’ phones, signage displays and directory boards, your website and the API all read that published release. Closures, notices and emergencies go from Studio to the same screens within seconds through the live layer, without a republish.

Try it. Send a visitor to Cardiology.

Switch on step-free and the route moves to the lift. Change the language to Arabic and the directions flip right to left. Trigger an evacuation and the map points to the nearest exits and rules out the lifts.

Interactive illustration of the DigiMaps Wayfinder. Fictional venues; your real venue renders in 2D/3D from your own floor plans.

Works on day one. No beacons, no app.

A kiosk knows exactly where it stands, so the route starts there. One scan moves it to the visitor’s phone with the same destination, the same language and the same step-free choice.

1The kiosk at the main entrance shows the route and draws a QR code.

3The same route opens in the phone's browser.

Carries over

  • The destination: Cardiology, Level 2
  • The origin kiosk, so “You are here” stays at the main entrance
  • The language the visitor chose
  • The step-free choice
  • The routing profile, such as wheelchair or stroller

Never carried

  • Personal data. The kiosk collects none.
  • Staff-only destinations
  • Kiosk mode and the kiosk's device ID

No app and no sign-up. Opens in the phone's browser.

The QR code holds a plain link:maps.wayvale-hospital.example/v/wayvale-general?to=cardiology&kiosk=main-entrance&lang=en&accessible=0

The kiosk comes down to meet a seated visitor.

One tap on Accessible mode moves every control into the lower half of the screen and turns on larger text, step-free routes and spoken directions. Each setting also works on its own, and resets for the next visitor.

Accessible wayfinding in detail

Close a lift in Studio. Every route avoids it.

Closures, moved services and notices go live without publishing a new map. A visitor already on their way is re-routed and told why. In an emergency, one action takes over every screen in every venue language.

  1. 01 09:41

    Content editor · Studio

Lift B goes out of service

The editor switches on a closure for Lift B in Live and sets it to end at 14:00. Nobody touches the map.

  2. 02 09:41

    Live channel

    Every screen gets it

Every kiosk, phone and signage screen gets the change within seconds. No map republish.

  3. 03 09:42

    Kiosk · Ground floor

A visitor mid-route is sent to Lift A

Directions recalculate around the closed lift, and the kiosk tells the visitor why instead of quietly drawing a different line.

  4. 04 13:52

    Content editor · Studio

    Back in service, one click

The lift is signed off early. The editor ends the closure and routes use Lift B again. Both actions are in the audit log.

Emergency mode and live operations

Every change is a release you can review, schedule and roll back.

Edits stay in draft until someone approves them. Kiosks pick up a new release when they are idle, so nobody loses their route halfway. If something is wrong, roll back to the last good version.

How Studio works

Our cloud, a dedicated instance, or a server in your building.

Many hospitals and government sites can’t send visitor data off site. DigiMaps runs on one machine on your network, including sites with no internet connection at all.

Cloud, hosted by us

We run the servers. Kiosks, signage players, phones and staff browsers connect over HTTPS.

Tenancy
Shared platform, each organisation in its own account
Connection
HTTPS from every screen and browser
Data location
The region agreed in your contract
If the internet drops
Kiosks keep searching and routing from their cached map, then catch up
Good fit
One venue or a portfolio, with no server of your own to run

Dedicated cloud

A separate instance for one organisation, running the same software as the shared cloud.

Tenancy
Single tenant: only your organisation on the instance
Connection
HTTPS from every screen and browser
Data location
The region agreed in your contract
If the internet drops
Kiosks keep searching and routing from their cached map, then catch up
Good fit
Groups whose IT policy rules out shared hosting

On-premises server

One machine on your LAN runs the API, database, Studio and Wayfinder. Your data stays on that server and its backups.

Operating system
Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04, or Windows 11 (22H2 or later) or Windows Server 2025 via WSL2
Small site
16 GB RAM and 4 CPU cores. Medium and large profiles for bigger sites
TLS
Your own certificates, or a built-in internal certificate authority
Network
Firewalled to your kiosk and admin subnets
Backups
Nightly and encrypted, with a second copy and a verified restore
Upgrades
Health check after each upgrade, automatic rollback if it fails
Air-gapped option
No outbound calls by default, an offline update bundle, AI features off by default
Good fit
Hospitals, government buildings and sites with no internet connection

Same Studio, same Wayfinder, same API in every option.

Running DigiMaps on your own server Trust and evidence

Ready for your kind of building.

Pick an industry pack and DigiMaps already knows the categories, private rooms, search synonyms and kiosk home screen for it. Search for “loo” and you get the restrooms. In a hospital, staff-only rooms never reach a public screen.

Wayfinding solutions by industry

Numbers we can show you.

We don’t publish customer counts, uptime percentages or “square feet mapped”. These numbers come straight from the product and its test suite, and we are happy to walk you through any of them.

  • 14 Industry packs ready to use
  • 6 Routing profiles Standard, wheelchair, reduced mobility, avoid stairs, stroller, low vision
  • 54 Languages available for venue content Up to 24 per venue
  • 340+ Documented API operations
  • 2,000+ Automated Wayfinder checks 1 Across 40 test suites, run in the build pipeline
  • 169,513 Route and search cases passed with zero failures 2 In our internal stress test
  1. Check counts are from our build on 21 October 2026.
  2. The stress test ran on a six-floor demonstration hospital in our own testing, not a customer site.

Made by a signage company.

DigiSigns runs what plays on TVs, LED walls, menu boards and kiosks for businesses from one dashboard. In a mall or hospital lobby, the question people ask a screen most often is where something is. DigiMaps is our answer, built by the same team in New Delhi.

It keeps a signage company’s habits: when nobody is using a kiosk, it plays your scheduled content, and live notices can feed the signage players you already run.

Questions buyers ask first

Short, straight answers. If yours isn’t here, ask us.

What is DigiMaps?

DigiMaps is indoor mapping and wayfinding software. You build or import your floor plans in Studio, and the same map runs on touchscreen kiosks, visitors’ phones, digital signage and your website. It is made by DigiSigns, a digital signage company in New Delhi.

Do we need beacons or other positioning hardware?

No. A kiosk has a fixed “You are here” point, so every route starts from where the visitor is standing and moves to their phone with a QR code. A moving blue dot on phones is an optional, commissioned add-on that needs a positioning provider and a site survey.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Maps, search and directions open in the phone’s browser from a QR code or a link, with no app to install. A live blue dot on iPhone would need a native app, which is on our roadmap rather than available today.

Can DigiMaps run on our own server, or with no internet?

Yes. DigiMaps Server runs the whole platform on one machine on your network, on Ubuntu or Windows. It can run air-gapped, with no outbound calls by default and offline updates, and kiosks keep working from their cached map if the network drops.

Which languages does it support?

Venue content can be written in any of 54 languages, up to 24 per venue, with full right-to-left layout for Arabic. The kiosk interface ships in English, Arabic, Russian and Chinese, and your team approves every translation. Map fonts are bundled for Latin, Cyrillic and Arabic; for scripts such as Devanagari you add your own font.

Does DigiMaps meet WCAG 2.1 AA?

DigiMaps is designed to support WCAG 2.1 AA, and automated accessibility checks run on every build. It has not had a third-party accessibility audit yet, so we do not claim conformance. Kiosks add a reach mode, large text, 7:1 high contrast, a calm mode, spoken directions and step-free routing.

What floor plans can we start from?

CAD drawings in DXF work best and need no AI. DWG works through a converter, and our team can bring in IMDF, GeoJSON and IFC files. AI-assisted tracing can draft rooms from a PDF or image for your team to review. You can export your map as IMDF, GeoJSON or KML at any time.

How is DigiMaps priced?

Pricing is per venue. It depends on floor area, the number of kiosks and screens, languages, and whether you choose our cloud or your own server. Tell us about your building and we will send a written quote. Single-site pilots are available.
