# DigiMaps by DigiSigns

> DigiMaps is indoor mapping and wayfinding software for hospitals, malls, airports, campuses, offices and public buildings. Operators build or import floor plans once in DigiMaps Studio; the same published map runs on touchscreen kiosks, visitors' phones (QR hand-off, no app), digital signage players and websites. It runs in the DigiMaps cloud or on one on-premises server, including air-gapped sites. DigiMaps is made by DigiSigns (Digiboard Tech Private Limited), a digital signage company in New Delhi, India.

Key facts:
- Works without beacons: kiosks have a fixed "You are here" origin and hand routes to phones by QR code, keeping destination, language and step-free choice.
- Six routing profiles: standard, wheelchair, reduced mobility, avoid stairs, stroller and low vision. Step-free routes never use stairs or escalators.
- Kiosk accessibility: controls within reach (lower half of the screen), text never below 20 px, touch targets at least 56 px, 7:1 high contrast, calm mode, easy read and spoken directions. Designed to support WCAG 2.1 AA; no third-party audit yet.
- Languages: venue content in any of 54 languages (up to 24 per venue) with full right-to-left Arabic. Kiosk interface ships in English, Arabic, Russian and Chinese.
- Live operations: closures, notices and emergencies reach screens within seconds without republishing; routes re-route around closures. Emergency guidance supplements, never replaces, alarms, signs and staff.
- Releases: draft, review, approve, schedule and roll back; visitors only see published releases.
- Integration: REST API (340+ documented operations), Server-Sent Events live channel, HMAC-signed webhooks, iframe embed with a JavaScript API, RSS / JSON Feed / iCal feeds for signage players.
- Import and export: CAD (DXF best; DWG via converter), AI-assisted tracing of PDF or image plans with human review; export IMDF, GeoJSON and KML.
- Not available today: phone blue dot on iPhone (needs a native app), native mobile SDKs, AR navigation, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification, uptime SLA. Prices are quoted per venue.
