Indoor wayfinding in Saudi Arabia.

DigiMaps is indoor wayfinding software for malls, hospitals and government buildings in Saudi Arabia. Arabic can lead on every kiosk, phone and screen. It runs on a server inside your own network or in hosting fixed by your contract, and we work through PDPL and NCA requirements with your team instead of claiming a badge.

What your IT, legal and procurement teams will ask.

Saudi buyers ask where data lives and how a vendor sits against PDPL and the NCA controls. These are our answers today, including the parts we cannot claim.

Buyer questions, what DigiMaps can show, and what we do not claim
They ask What we can show What we will not claim
Where is visitor data stored? On-premises: on your server and its backups, with no outbound calls by default. Hosted: in the location written into your contract. That our cloud pins a region by itself. It does not, so the location goes in the contract.
Do you collect personal data? Visitors are anonymous and kiosks have no sign-in. E-mails, phone numbers and long digit runs typed into search are scrubbed. Hospital and government venues drop typed search text. That this makes your deployment PDPL compliant. Your data protection officer decides that.
How do you approach the NCA cybersecurity controls? Security questionnaire, threat model and penetration-test scope are available under NDA. Every change goes through static analysis, dependency and secret scanning, and scheduled OWASP ZAP API scans. A certification, a passed audit or a completed penetration test. Ask about our current compliance status.
Is there a written control mapping? Our written mapping covers UAE frameworks today, with a DPIA template. For PDPL and NCA, we answer your requirement list line by line. A Saudi mapping. We have not written one yet.
Can it run with no internet connection? Yes. The server makes no outbound calls by default, takes an offline update bundle, and keeps AI features off by default. Kiosks keep routing from their cached map if the network drops. That a brand-new kiosk works before it has loaded the map once from your server.
Who supports us in the Kingdom? A local integrator holds the contract, installs the screens and maintains them on site. Our team supports the software and your staff from New Delhi. A Saudi office. We do not have one.

In a mall, the prayer room on the way, not the nearest one.

A visitor heading to Guest services adds a prayer room as a stop. The router compares every prayer room and picks the one that keeps the whole walk shortest, even when another is closer to the kiosk.

  • Shop, dine, entertainment and services tiles from the mall pack
  • Arabic search that ignores hamza, taa marbuta and tatweel variants
  • Idle kiosks play your signage playlist, with proof of play
  • One scan sends the route to the visitor’s phone, in Arabic

Prayer room B is on the way, so the amber route goes through Prayer room B and on to Guest services. In a hospital, private rooms stay private.

Hospital mode keeps clinical and staff-only areas off public screens and can run entirely on your own network. The hospital pack decides what visitors may see, and anything it cannot classify stays hidden until your team reviews it.

Hospital wayfinding in detail

Delivered through a local integrator.

We have no Saudi office. A local signage integrator or kiosk supplier holds the contract, installs the screens and visits the site. Our team supplies the software, sets up your venues, trains your staff and answers the hard questions.

Integrators building mall, airport or hospital signage in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam can join the partner programme for integrators: multi-venue Studio, white-label themes, kiosk setup guides and training.

Questions from Saudi buyers

Is DigiMaps compliant with the Saudi PDPL?

We do not claim PDPL compliance; that judgement belongs to your data protection officer and counsel. We can show them that visitors are anonymous, kiosks have no sign-in, personal details typed into search are scrubbed, and on the on-premises edition every record stays on your server.

Can DigiMaps be hosted inside Saudi Arabia?

On-premises, yes: the server runs on one machine in your own building or data centre, with no outbound calls by default. For hosted deployments, the location is agreed in the contract, because nothing in our cloud pins a region by itself. If hosting in the Kingdom is a tender requirement, raise it with us at the start.

Do you have an office in Saudi Arabia?

No. DigiSigns is based in New Delhi. Projects are delivered with a local integrator who handles hardware and site work, and our team supports them from 07:30 to 16:30 Saudi time, Monday to Friday.

Can a visitor add a prayer room to their route?

Yes. Route options include adding a stop on the way, and the router picks the prayer room that keeps the whole walk shortest rather than the one nearest the kiosk. The stop types come from the venue’s industry pack.

Can our mall team update the directory without calling you?

Yes. From Studio, your team closes a shop, marks one as moved and posts notices, and those changes reach every screen within seconds without republishing the map. Renames in Arabic and English, opening hours and map edits go out as a reviewed release.

Can one team run several malls?

Yes. Studio holds many venues in one workspace, each with its own buildings, floors, kiosks, languages and brand, and roles decide who can edit which venue.

Plan a pilot in one Saudi venue

Book a 30-minute call between 07:30 and 16:30 Saudi time, Monday to Thursday. We show the demo venue in Arabic and English, look at your floor plan, and answer your requirement list in writing afterwards.
